Just had a set of my Wedding images published in the Real Weddings feature in the April edition of Wedding Ideas magazine!
We shot the Wedding of Zoe and Mark Lancaster back in June of 2011 at Taxal, just outside Whaley Bridge in The Peak District.
It was a farmhouse wedding with a marquee decorated with wild flowers and a real English country garden theme.
The ceremony was at a lovely little church down the lane from the farmhouse and the Bridal party and guests were all transported back to the farmhouse in decorated open-top trailers pulled by vintage tractors.
It really was a special day. Even the heavens opening as we left the church didn’t dampen any spirits and everyone was quite happy getting soaked on the short trip back to the farmhouse in the trailers.
The whole day was fabulous with a Basil Fawlty impersonator as Toastmaster and entertainment, and a rock band for the evening reception music. A local singer/songwriter even composed something just for them.
I bumped into Zoe only yesterday and she tells me that everyone is still raving about the wonderful day they all had.
Here are a few pages from their Graphistudio album to give some idea of what it was all about.
