Wedding buttonholes and Cravats - how-to

October 07, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

Almost every wedding sees us helping with buttonholes and/or cravats for Grooms and other "suits" who struggle (understandably) to pin them and tie them properly so I thought it was probably a good idea to post some easy to understand tips on the subject.

The photo set below shows the wrong and correct ways to attach a buttonhole while the link will take you to the "how to tie" page of the Cravat Company. Remember that a man's buttonhole goes on the left lapel while, traditionally, a lady's corsage is attached on the right hand side of her dress or jacket.

We're always happy to help but are starting to provide our couples with this information before their big day in an effort to reduce some of the stress!
