Confetti or rose petals

November 01, 2012  •  Leave a Comment

We've noticed recently that there seem to be fewer people taking confetti along to Weddings and have come to the conclusion it's all part of our desire to be more green!

Every recent Vicar or Priest we've spoken with has asked that we tell guests to please not throw any of the shiny metallic confetti as it sticks to paths and buildings and is expensive to clean off as it isn't biodegradable.

While the newer biodegradable confetti is more environmentally friendly it's a lot less colourful so we're encouraging couples to tell their families and friends to consider rose petals instead. They're certainly bigger, more colourful and biodegradable meaning everyone is happy and we get much nicer confetti shots with the bigger petals.
